If anything, that would make it a matter of faith. It is, because we believe it is.
That is fine for the individual, but as argued previously, if you want something to apply to folk other than yourself, one needs to have more than mere faith, particularly if you're trying to make laws based off of it.
Faith-based laws are dangerous and should be avoided worse than the plague.
