a place on the planet where such a possibility could occur; but that's actually irrelevant. I'm using the example (as you correctly point out) rhetorically, in order to explore the concept of rights.

Would you say, then, that it is morally proper for me to kill the hermit for no particular reason? That doesn't sound right to me.
