question about notebook powercord by Rogue1971 2008-10-21 08:39:21
the battery on my laptop never worked, no matter it always stays in the same spot anyway so it didn't really matter, not the power cord released the magic smoke and I noticed for the first time it was mended with electrical tape so it was bad from the time I bought it ( used).

So if a powercord is frayed could it keep the battery from charging while still being able to run the computer, as in would the new cord possibly allow me to charge and use the battery?
