I have no doubt that the laptop has a VGA output on the back (though I'd have to go and look to be sure). What I'm wondering is if the video-chip will support effectively 2390x768. It is, I assume, an on-board video solution. And I was told (incorrectly, as it happens) that those would not support a resolution that high. It may be true in some cases. And I would also like to know if I'm correct in my assumption about the 'shared memory'. Does this mean that it will consume 1277MB of my ram?
