No I don't believe you are anti-gun control or pro-Second Amendment like you claim. Your knowledge of the Constitution and of firearms in general is sorely lacking.
Example "Is there much call for a weapon larger than .50 cal in most applications? No." Here is a weapon with a bore larger than .50 Caliber that is used in a rather large number of applications. Just FYI the Barret and Desert Eagle would have been banned had that bill passed.
I really think it's too bad that you have chosen to put on the blinders when it comes to Obama. His past associations and connections should be considered and vetted as a measure of his character and judgement, as is done here. Can you logically explain his choice to associate with an unrepentant terrorist, his choice to be a member of a Church with a Racist Bigoted Anti-American pastor for 20 years? Was it naivete, a lack of judgement, political opportunism or what he really believed? How does that qualify him to run the country now?
You say the "grand plan" to take all our guns away (ZOMG!) is pure fabricated crap. Do you have evidence to support this or is it just how you feel? Remember we have people on the inside of these Anti-American organizations.
Finally do you really want to lay back, do nothing and place your liberties in the hands of the Supreme Court? Especially considering the kind of Justices Obama is likely to nominate?
I'm not supporting McCain, heck he was part of a group that cost me a very lucrative career. But when I see the things I do in Obama's past and I talk with friends who have lived in totalitarian societies who are scared to death of an Obama Presidency I take notice. |
