Firefox Cache question by swisscheese 2008-10-01 16:47:45
I was trying to figure out where all my disk-space has gone on my smallish Ubuntu partition. The results indicate I either don't quite understand what the settings mean, or there's a bug of some sort. A brief perusal of Google and Mozilla.Org hasn't offered any clarification. I'm feeling lazy today, and figured I'd exploit my well-informed <insert blatant flattery here> fellow UFies.

Apparently I had about 2.5 Gigs taken up by the cache -- even though in preferences I have set Firefox to "Use up to _50_ MB of space for this cache"

Using the "Clear Now" button appears to have cleared the entire cache for this profile. The other profile is still occupying over 1.2 GB.

Am I missing something?
