IBM Mainframe question by MadnessASAP 2008-10-01 16:27:23
I should start off by saying that 12 hours ago I barely even knew what what the System Z architecture was and now I find myself trying to work my way around one. I am taking part in a part education, part competiting program run by IBM and it largely takes place on one of their mainframes.

The problem is I have reached a problem that I can't quite answer and I'm hoping someone here will have the answere that I'm looking for. The mainframe is a sysplex(right terminology?) of 2 different logical machines (s0w1 and s0w2) and my shell/ISPF runs on s0w1. one of the question is asking me to determine the IP address of s0w2 and I simply cannot find any reference to it. I've been reading through various manuals and all the commands that look like they should return the right info (display tcpip,,sysplex) usually return someting alogn the lines of 0 of 0 records printed.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.
