Without looking it up, what do you think copyright by Illiad2008-10-01 13:22:58
In TKT, we had some... issues before. by Lethosos 2008-10-01 14:59:17
Let's just say never bring up an Artist formerly named Nicole in the presence of Shin-Goji.

See, as part of his sideshow of bizzarity and lemon sours, we have cheesecake modeled mostly after known giant monsters, such as the icon, Godzilla. (Kanna is the only fan-made kaiju girl in the archives--I have general "rights" to her by default.) He gets submissions from assorted artists, including forum regulars, and, well... one of those was a hack whom we found out didn't do actual freehand art--she did essentially "trace" art and modified it accordingly. Needless to say, she made a row over the work she orignally gifted as per terms on the website to Shin-Goji. She wasn't the first to make annoying noises at him, but this was at a time when he was starting to mellow out, so he was being a bit more reasonable and always pointing out the Terms of Agreement regarding submitted artwork.

Long story short, he made no bones about it, got tired of her whinging, and deleted all of her work from the archives. (He also deleted an honest artist's work as well, just because he sided with her by mistake and carried on as well; he's back and repentant after a year. We're still getting the last bits of his work in, AFAIK it.)

This was before I was made mod, so that's as far as I know about it. He'd also had DeviantArt issues for people ripping off the K-Girl Galleries and claiming them as their own, but that was DA staff policies, not ours.
