Why is it? <rant> by confused.brit2008-10-01 11:17:16

Question: are you pointing out how snappy she is while she's still being snappy (i.e., still in "low blood sugar" mode) or after, when she's stable and (theoretically) back to her "old self".

I know it's a very different situation, but my mom always used to yell at my stepdad about his excessive drinking, and what an a3hat he was being, while he was drunk. I could never quite poke through to her that it was useless, since he never remembered how he was when he was drunk after he sobered up anyway. The one time I spoke to him about it while he was sober, he was stricken...he honestly had no idea, and pretty much stopped drinking for a month. He started again because my mom wouldn't follow up. *roll eyes*

Just seeing the similarity because they're both blood chemistry issues that affect the brain.

If, of course, you're pointing this out to her when she has sugar and is in her right mind, then carry on.
