Finding the history of a phone number? by toysbfun2008-10-01 07:13:27
You shouldn't be able to for privacy reasons. (n/t) by kahuana2008-10-01 08:40:07
Okay, that was way over-simplified. by kahuana 2008-10-01 08:43:17
Requesting the information from the phone company will get you that response.
(That's the response we got when asking who previously had been assigned our 800 # - weird calls)

If you have 25 years worth of telephone directories, then you should be able to brute force your way to finding a number.

If you have 25 years worth of reverse-telephone directories, then your task is greatly simplified.

(Except where the # may have been unlisted at some point)
