Objects from a More Civilized Age: Vehicles by Illiad 2008-10-01 08:37:30
I'm a fan of antiques, particularly Western antiques from between 1860 and 1945. If you could choose to have any object from that time period, what would it be? Give us a link to an example of it, and perhaps tell us why.

Wait, let's narrow it down a bit and do this over a few days. Let's start with vehicles, horseless carriages or not. Given the broad time period, this should give you quite a range from which to choose. I'll post my own answer in a reply.
