Actually, Hadji has a good point. There *are* a lot of things that would reduce down effectively to the lowest available level...but not all things. And some things would have to operate at different (or all) levels.
I could see, though, constructing an object-oriented kind of inheritance, where common functionality is inherited down to the lower levels, but can be customized/overridden to suit the needs of the lower levels. If I had time, I'd draw up a model representing this kind of struture. If... |
