When I pen that I am reminded of one of the rare incidents a friend recounted to me of his experiences during the Viet Nam war. He was in the Brown Water Navy with a total of 18 months combat duty. One particular mission they were on Air Sea Rescue Duty in an area where a LOT of sharks were known to be. They saw the pilot punch out, but by the time they got to him they were only able to rescue half a pilot.
