I only buy movies on Blu-ray that will benifit by Classic_Jon 2008-10-01 07:17:58
from it being in HD or were filmed in HD.

I se no reason to buy "Blazing saddles" on blu-ray as it was filmed on regular film and re-mastering it will not take away the technology used to film it.

Now things like 300 and other more modern films that were done in HD...that is a different story :)

As an aside, Ihave seen quite a few blu-ray movies at gamestop and Half-price book stores for about half of what they are in the stores ;-D
