almost no matter what the findings are. There would appear to be enough strongly-extenuating circumstances in that mess that a finding of "guilty" might win her as much sympathy as if she wins -- maybe from the same people. There does seem to be some question of her having a distinct tendency to abuse her position, but even if "troopergate" is found to be part of a larger pattern, the case in itself is double-edged. I'm surprised her opponents are wasting this much of their time and energy on this one.
