Rick Wright has passed away. by radiowave9112008-09-15 18:02:07
I wouldn't really say Sigma 6 was the same as by Cural 2008-09-15 18:42:51
Pink Floyd... Sigma 6 did include a couple members who later went on to form Pink Floyd, but it wasn't really the same band. The original incarnation of Pink Floyd was really The Tea Set. Name was changed to The Pink Floyd Sound when they were at a concert where there was another band by the name of Tea Set, and ever since then they interchanged between the two names when playing gigs, until eventually they decided to stick with the latter.

At least, that's what Nick Mason said in his book Inside Out.
