"You have demonstrated a far superior level of knowledge and world political awareness, while holding similarly wrong ideas on many issue"
I don't know how to take this. Are you saying that fully studying and understanding these issues lead to incorrect answers and that only by not knowing the details of the issues raises one to some higher form of consciousness, some tabula rasa form of zen-like where the answer becomes clear. In short what the Bugghists call enlightenment?
Or are you flat out stating that DR can study until he's blue in the face but still won't understand the true problems because he doesn't have the mental machinery to grok the issues?
"She is really really not honest. Also not qualified."
You need to add a little detail there. Why don't you start with, I don't know, some detail. All this is a blanket statement that you don't trust. At least I'm not afraid to admit that when I get a gut feeling that someone is untrustworthy I give that as a reason. Who's not being honest now.
"Compare and contrast yourself with her, she comes out so inferior as a potential world leader."
Well, you have already stated that you don't trust Palin yet you now try to use her as a template with DR's qualifications as VP.
"Her lies are pathological as well."
When did you get your psychology degree. You do know that pathological liars are compulsed to do so. This is easy to test: ask her if the scy is green and see if she answers "yes." For that matter, how are you able to determine her mental state from speeches which everyone knows are of a political nature and intended to basically say, "me good throg, bad, vote ogg for president or ogg smash you with stick."
"My experience is that you do not lie. You are usually wrong about everything, just like most conservatives, but at least you are honestly wrong."
Let's reword that to simplify, "DR you're stupid, but at least you are honest about it."
Enough of the logical deconstruction. Let's do a test for phsychological bamboozlery.*
First off, you chose as your subject a person who disagrees with you in an obvious attempt at both flattery and misdirection. This is one of the oldest tricks in the book. "Don't vote for him, why look at you, such a fine strapping young man, why you'd make a wonderful candidate. Why if I hadn't already chosen my running mate I'd pick you!" However you ruined it by choosing as your audience people who don't generally fall for that sort of flattery.
Obama did almost the same thing when he said that us hicks in Pennsylvania "they cling to guns or religion" but you'll notice that he said that to a roomfull of liberal elite just after he gave a speech in PA how he won't take our guns away.
The attempt at flattery, given left-handed of course, of course fails since the tone given by your post also suggests that Jack the Ripper would make a better candidate because he is at least honest about hating Whitechapel hookers.
Toxin, be honest, have you ever considered a career in politics? I only ask because this is the same flim-flammery used in snake-oil pitches, misdirection used magic shows, and double-speak used in political speeches.
* I think I just made up that word, but I really like it. Bamboozelry, bamboozelry, bamboozlery! |
