liked McCains policies on everything but Gay marriage, they should not vote for him?

Flipped the other way:
A Gay person Should vote for Obama based solely on his current stance that Gay's should be allowed civil unions but NOT marriage?

Knowing quite a few Gay people, I know that some will vote that way but...to me...it seems to be very short sighted and narrow minded to base a decision off of one thing.
