it's an investigation. Investigators usually have a good idea of what they are investigating, long before all the evidence is cataloged.

I agree that an independent investigation would be preferable, however, in todays polarized political scene, no one would ever be investigated if that were a requirement. Remember we are not talking about an ethics violation, not possible criminal behavior.

As far as the Governor filing that complaint against herself, I find that an interesting tactic. I have heard it suggested that the purpose was to delay any findings until after Nov 4. *shrugs* I suppose that we, like everybody else will have to be content to wait and see.
