..he's trying to get back at me for insisting he starts working at 9 at the latest, and go home on time. The guy has 100+ hours overtime.
I did something grim, but necessary:
At salary regulation, I add 3% to balance inflation. I put in writing, that he can have 1.5% more accumulated over the next 3 months, with his december paycheck, if he works normal hours (not shifted 3 hours, as he had grown accustomed to) until end december. Then his salary will be upped the 1.5%.... I think he's p4ed because the sweet life is over.
I'll give him a clean slate, and a last chance to get it right.
He'll have to rake his own chestnuts out of the fire. Freedom comes with responsibility here.
