    Was that all one person? by josie_beller2008-08-27 17:42:54
      Yes. =} by ShadowSystems 2008-08-27 17:50:28
It's ok, the truck did NOT get towed.
I simply left the room, called the $Service_Provider & told the person who answered the phone that the tech on site had NOT come prepared, didn't bother to charge their phone, & needed someone to come out & bring him some gas because he was too stupid to remember what the blinking light next to the E was about on the gas gauge...
She laughed sadly, then got real quiet when she realized I was NOT joking.
"Ok Sir, we'll send another tech out as soon as I can get one free. Give us about 30 minutes?"

35 minutes later the 2nd tech showed up, took the first one outside, had a "few words" with him, & then the 2nd Tech took over.
The first guy had taken nearly 45 minutes and achieved nothing.
The second guy made an observation, replaced the broken connector in the wall jack, & had fixed the issue in under ten minutes.
Five of that was spent apologizing for his coworker.
They didn't charge me for the visit, either.
