Rule #1 of being a field tech. by hadji2008-08-27 17:28:04
Rule #2: Make sure you have all your tools. by ShadowSystems 2008-08-27 17:39:27
If you have to ask ME for a tool, I may be tempted to BEAT you with it.

Rule 3: Make sure your cell phone is charged before you get here.
There is no phone connected to the voice portion of the DSL line you're here to service.
I have a cell phone for my voice communications, and as it costs me per minute to use, no it is NOT ok for you to use it to call in to HQ.

Rule 4: Gas up the vehicle BEFORE you start for the customer's location, and never, EVER, EVER ask the customer for gas money.
Not only will I NOT give you any, but I may see if I can have your company vehicle towed from the property as if it were stolen.

*cough*
