Copyright v. Piracy: "It's not theft." by Illiad2008-08-27 16:36:18
It does no harm. by hej2008-08-27 16:45:08
But why does it have to do harm before it's bad? by Illiad2008-08-27 17:00:05
How do you feel about piracy being a way to vote by confused.brit 2008-08-27 17:06:37
with your feet.

IE you dont like the crud the 'industry' is churning out, but you were going to buy an old cd compilation when music had a tune or whatever. So you decide since you can download it free, it might send a message

You know the artist gets a pittance from your cd sale, most of it going to the record label churning out the crud and denying the decent people a start because 'they arent mainstream'... Why should you pay them when they arent producing the goods you wish to buy, unless recycled.

If this is unclear in meaning, say. I'm drunk so might not be making much sense.
