"Come to our church. We have fun and play music!" by toysbfun2008-08-27 16:26:51
I just had something similar happen... by ShadowSystems2008-08-27 16:34:01
its not just religious folks that do by symbiont1b 2008-08-27 17:05:56
this either. People that can't take no for an answer drive me bonkers, no matter who they represent.

Take the phone company. I switched to a different service...now they call me several times a month asking me to come back. They email me, stuff flyers in my mailbox etc. If this was an ex-boyfriend it would be stalking and considered a crime. Why the heck is this type of behavior legal for companies???

As for the religious folks...I struck up a "friendship" with a Jehovah's Witness that used to come by all the time. She knew not to try to convert me, I didn't try to convert her...but we both sincerely enjoyed talking about the similarities between our faiths. I haven't seen her in a long time though, so I suspect she was told to stay away. The key point here is...she took NO for an answer! Its all about the respect. lol
