Locked phones illegal in the UK now? by mrxavia 2008-08-27 14:42:44
I just brought a new mobile phone from Vodafone, and I had a very interesting conversation with the sales guy (who was extremely helpful and gave me a great deal!).

I wanted to make sure the phone was not SIM locked, and he told me it would be unlocked as it is now illegal to sell SIM locked phones, I have no reason to doubt this, my last phone from them came unlocked..

Does anyone know if what he told me is true? are sim locked mobiles illegal in the UK now?
