And then save some more. It sounds cliche, but at 38, I'm not understanding the importance of saving early and often, and am trying to catch up to offset my own non-saving ways. Live a LITTLE, but make sure it doesn't get in the way of saving. Save first, and then live a little on what you have left over. Needs over wants, but address some of the wants or you'll feel deprived.
