| Almost a year ago now I was where you are now. The disposable amount at the end of each month seems staggering at first. In fact, I had a hard time really spending it, because I had lived the students life for so long. Trust me, it won't last, because you can't help having expenses slowly rise to match means. Currently I have about as much left each month as I had when studying, but I eat better quality foods, have a much bigger apartment, have my own dishwasher and washing machine, have a new car, and can afford to travel again. If you haven't already, look into a pension fund as well. It may seem far away, but a little saved early on has a big impact in the end, and it slows the increase in spending because it divers part of the monthly surplus. But again, live a little, you certainly have something to celebrate ... :-) |
