It's a standard size socket but the lamp is quite small so I would not expect any bulb to fit into the space even if it meets the socket and power requirements. And the usage pattern for a fridge is certainly different than for other applications... One would hope that a ban on plain light bulbs would not extend to fridge lights. Energy saving lamps are not exactly what you'd need in there...
