Of course, it wouldn't be the first time we've made false assumptions about the past. And, what our great-to-the-50th-or-more grandchildren choose to believe about us... I'm sorry, but I just can't find it in myself to get all that worked up about their opinions.
I do like the idea, though, of including technical specifications for how to read our other media. Not that I expect a CD to be readable after 1,000 years on the shelf, but, maybe it'll give bitflipper LII some hints as to what to be looking for. |
