Connotation of "nimrod"	by maximumbob	2008-08-26 19:00:27
Why in my mind is the word "nimrod" associated with words like "nincompoop", "imbecile", "idiot" etc.? I always assumed it was like one of those words, but on checking Wikipedia, I see it comes from Hebrew for "hunter" and I couldn't find a single article on the disambiguation page that corroborates my mental assumption!
