it really depends on the maturity of the person that is younger AND the older person needs to realize that they have a LOT more life experience than an 18 year old does. That life experience can cause issues at times if they want to go do something you have already done and do not want to repeat. As you get older the age gaps matter less, to a point. I would not reccommend a 60 year old dating a 20 year old in most cases as their life priorites would rarely meet and the "dating a mother/father figure" could come into play.
