How to explain whats going on right now in my life:
My wife , son and I live in Jacksonville, Fl; about 7 hours from her mom and family in NE GA and about 17hours to my family in NE OH.
We have talked about where we could and have an armistice hammered that will allow for peaceful coexistence with each other if we live in Cleveland near my folks. this was made hinging on 2 facts my dad is my son's only living grandfather and both my grandmothers health is deteriorating.
I recently got hired at a company that pays very well , but the work is for lack of a better word incredibly boring (imagine designing forms all day and you begin to understand real quick what I am talking about). The biggest benefit from this job is the ability to work remotely from anywhere in the US with supervisor approval.
I just found out that I will not complete my degree in the time frame that the adviser led both my wife and I believe it would be completed in (DEC 2009) and instead it will take approx another 2 semesters(read another year).
All of Digital Roars introduction letters and media kits mail out Tuesday to prepare the way for meetings while my partner is at the Austin GDC in September. After long conversations with many o fthe staff it was decided if we get funded jacksonville would be the city we setup base as that where our inc. lies
The condo we have rented for the past 2 years is now having maintenance issues washing machine a month ago , dryer 2 weeks ago and now the freezer is starting to act funky. year ago we fulfilled the lease arrangements and went month to month , landlord is pushing for a new lease(understandably) but wants more money (which I am not going to do we already pay a premium compared to neighboring properties).
I loathe moving, let alone moving across 6 states to go back home, but that has pondering if it is the wisest move.
all in all I feel completely awash in decisions without a lighthouse to act a point of reference. |
