bad experience with devolo dLan by Mastacheata 2008-08-26 04:49:45
I used ethernet over mains system at home for connecting a pc to an existing network through a concrete ceiling. It works quite well as long as there's no other electrical equipment plugged into an outlet nearby. But if you have multiple outlets which lie on the same phase of mains cables you won't even get any connection at all between the adapters.

Example Situation: Mains Adapter in one end of the room and the tv in the other end causes disconnection of the powerline thing as soon as the tv is switched on. Same goes for Notebook AC Adapter in certain combinations of power outlets for dlan and ac adapter.
