HP believe in their reliability enough to give them a lifetime warranty (with excellent turnaround, they send the new one and then you return the broken one... normally next day iirc) No experience of wireless cards (we only use stuff with on-board wireless, but it's all 100% business critical, and procurve suits us just fine) but I think that probably matters less than the AP.
