Wireless networking recommendations, please. by JimK 2008-08-26 01:11:31
I need suggestions/recommendations for reliable WLAN kit.

Background: when we host courses (as opposed to going to a customer premises) we provide machines on which students work. There are up to eight machines and a server for software licences and sometimes terminal sessions. The connection between client and server needs to be good, as tools will shut up shop if they can't see the licence server. We could cable all the machines, but that can easily double the setup time for a course - WLAN makes things a lot easier to set up but varies wildly in reliability.

So: can anybody recommend kit that will keep a connection going and stand up to interference well? We need both the access points and the PC end, and price is less important than reliability.
