And the easiest thing I can tell you is to find a pair of black or brown "dress" slacks. Look for flat front (no pleats) if you are curvy. You can add almost any kind of top, other than a tshirt, with some type of jacket and come off a professional.
I find it easiest to wear a "sweater set". This consists of a lightweight sweater, either sleeveless or short sleeves, with a matching cardigan (read button up) sweater over it. I like v-necked better, but that's just me.
I think your orientation has more to do with how you carry yourself, and I'd advise you to present yourself in whichever way you are most comfortable. Your confidence in yourself is the most important thing to portray. |
