it evens out your complexition and provides a basis for other makeup.. a sort of "facial primer" to put it in a painting perspective.. concealer is a spot corrector.. say under the eyes to get rid of circles or minimize wrinkles.. or for people who are prone to acne breakouts.. to help cover it up.. seeing what pictures I have of you.. you probably need neither.. I could be wrong though.. get a women's magazine or one for teengage girls .. there are usually tons of tips about what makeup to use when.. also websites like cosmo and glamour will help too :) okay here comes the hard part caz I hate clothes shopping and usually get slacks myself ... look here for a good starting guide and good luck :)
