But I'm not sure how that's much better than plugging it in. Sure, you get rid of a cable (whoop-de-doo), but you don't actually gain anything in distance. You might actually *lose* in distance by a bit, depending on the exact final setup and the old cable's length.

(That distance limit does help against people trying to steal the signal, at least.)

But hey, whatever. :-)
