Is there a way you can get a practice with everyon by imrambi2008-08-22 10:17:29
This is a one-time special occurrence. by merlin 2008-08-22 10:42:25
Long story short, we had a Spanish-language ministry at an apartment complex. The apartment complex was sold so the land could be redeveloped. The church service moved to our campus, but was in the gymnasium and later in the afternoon. We are now moving them to our chapel at one of our two "regular" worship times, thus making them more of an official part of our worship services.

This is the first service under the new arrangement, so our regular English-service choir is going to come perform a one-song special to welcome them to our church.

The regular setup will be the piano, acoustic guitar and 4 vocalists. I just have to get through one song with this crazy setup.

As far as everyone practicing together, that will happen about 30 minutes before the service, during sound check, if I'm lucky.

As for your last, everyone understands that this will be a learning process for all involved. I keep reminding them I haven't done this in over two years.
