Just compare prices with those anywhere else in the world, and they look downright cheap. It's just that gas prices have gone up drastically lately, and people haven't had time to adjust their habits, and their purchasing decisions. So gas is relatively expensive compared to a year ago. But in absolute terms, it's cheap. Is it the government's responsibility to cushion the steep incline in gas prices? Or is that just a crutch that will enable people to avoid taking the steps they must in order to adjust to the higher prices? I guess you will have to express your opinion with a vote :-)
