What is this interaction you're telling me about? Where is it? Point to it. Measure it. Show me it.
That's what I mean by "it's a very vague thing." Only you can experience your interaction; my experience is my interaction.
But our physical selves, now, these are measureable. We can point to them, easily.
As for you being the same you as you were when you were, way back when... (I think that phrase can be parsed :s ) Is there any reason to expect a discontinuity between you as you were then and you as you are now? Without such a discontinuity, how would you not be you? Sure, you're not identical to the you that you were, but that's exactly what I'm measuring: the changes between you-then and you-now that correlate to the change you report in your experience. |
