All right, a little more seriously: the most evident candidate for change is you. All things change, but living, thinking organisms change very rapidly. Therefore, between you and the painting, I would more readily suspect you have changed--your experiences have been added to, over the past week, and your perceptions are colored by your experiences, hence, the change. The painting, too, has changed over the past week; it has aged. But the change in the painting is unlikely even to be noticeable to the human eye, especially when compared to the change one week can make in a person. |
