Firefox ad blocking question by Skelwar 2008-08-22 03:51:58
First of all: yes, I know ads make money. That being said, now the question:

Is there a good addon where I can put sites on a blacklist or something, because there's one page where the ads are REALLY annoying. They pop up out of nowhere on the page, darken the whole page, and after like 10 seconds the closebutton appears. It's a FORUM, I don't want to wait that much between clicking stuff...

I'd be happy with any of the following:

Addon that can block all ads on that page,
Addon that can block the script for that ad on that page,
Addon that can do whatever you might think of to let me skip that ad, or at least make the closebutton appear instantly,
or anything else you guys can think of that can help.

BTW, I have AdBlock Plus installed, but it doesn't work properly. I can only block stuff manually, and it only works until reloading the page.
