A better indicator of heart health is at-rest pulse, blood pressure, and cholesterol levels. Last time I gave blood my pulse was 62 with a BP of 100/60. My total cholesterol was considered borderline high, but that doesn't count either since I had not fasted before giving blood, nor does it include HDL vs LDL.
