am i mistaken? linux question by ick 2008-07-29 15:33:56
i thought /usr was the user profile that should be the largest partition, and / was the root profile. on my mint installation i assigned the 40 gigs to /usr and it would only read the 2 gig / partition. i reinstalled and made the 40 gigs the / partition and it all works suddenly. is there something i am missing? is my logic/memory failing me?
