| Two teen girls (14-15ish?) robbed a 9-year old girl scout selling cookies at a mall. When asked why, they very matter of factly said "we needed the money" and "who doesn't like money? I know it's a crime, but it was a pretty easy crime."
Both are white, wearing designer clothes, and one of them had a Starbucks drink in her hand. Neither looked like they were starving or underprivileged.
Both remain free because the crime was a misdemeanor ("petty theft") and a deputy sheriff didn't witness the theft (whatever that means). Charges are pending from the county prosecutor. The teens are both "pissed" because they now have charges coming and they were forced to give back the money.
