So their credit rating tanks for the next 5-6 years. What happens when they lose their job next year? Many companies are doing credit checks these days. Company: "Why do you have a foreclosure on your record"? Applicant: "Oh, I walked away because it wasn't worth it to me." Company: "So... you broke your contractual obligations because it didn't suit you. Thank you. Don't call us. Ever."
