The garage door opener companies manage to have an arrangement where when you install a new opener, either you install strip lighting along the upper edges of your garage, or else it works with existing strip lighting. I have a garage door opener, and the vibration keeps burning out the bulbs in the opener. Yes, I've installed bulbs designed for garage door openers, but they keep burning out.
