with a paper trail. If she can hand you a help-ticket signed off by your boss and by her boss that you are to do this work for her, then do it. Otherwise, no ticket, no worky. The company is paying you to maintain corporate assets, which is part of why the paper trails exist; the company needs to be able to evaluate what kind of return they're getting for the money they pay for your services.
