RPOTM: Related Poll of the Moment. by Esteis2008-07-29 07:35:01
  6+ years IIANM. by werehatrack 2008-07-29 07:54:10
It's one of the earliest GSM-capable Nokias, and I keep it (and have rounded up a spare) in part precisely because of what it *does not* do. It does not have a color screen (and is therefore readable in full direct sunlight), it does not have a camera (and can therefore be taken into industrial plants and other camera-prohibited areas), and it does not work with Bluetooth.

I partially dread the change that we will likely be making from AT&T to Verizon in a couple of months; I suspect that a new phone will be an unavoidable part of the swap, and it may take some serious scrounging to find a really reliable one as simple and INCAPABLE as the one I have now.

Or maybe I can smile at the nice salesperson, put the new phone in my pocket, and quietly swap the SIM card over to my old Nokia as soon as I'm out the door.
